2 Days

Two days to go... and I am really starting to feel the side effects of pregnancy. Sore legs, tired arms, back pains, neck pain and a constant tired feeling. Actually, tired feeling has been present the whole nine months. I cleaned the kitchen tonight, I really need to mop though. Doing dishes and cleaning the stove and counter tops was enough for the day. I hope I can really clean the house tomorrow get it all ready for Zeke to come home to. And us, I know I will be so happy that I cleaned.

5 Days To Go

Five short or long days? I prefer long. That may sound hypocritical since this whole entire time I have been wanting Zeke to be here ASAP. I had a simple thought last night, after the midwife asked if I wanted her to induce me or strip my membranes.
Thought: Zeke is going to be with us for the rest of our lives. Why should I be pushing him to come out so fast?
So, Zeke baby, come whenever you want. No rush. Just not Saturday

Clark,
Hi.

Dun Dun Dun! Seven (7) More

39 weeks

Seven more days. Oh Zeke, won't you come earlier? Please!

Last Nights Work

Hemp Twine Waxed with tiny tassels and three gold balls. A necklace I have been wanting to make since April. Finally! It did take an hour to make sure the tassels were tiny enough.

I love love love love these. I have been trying to find them since I saw a dress made out of them a couple years ago in a Fashion Magazine... no luck. So, I tried to bleach peacock feathers myself and let me tell you it doesn't work. I was out wondering yesterday and ran into these 50% off!! I can not wait to make more with beading on the fringe.

Cooper

I have been so over cooking dinner the past few nights. I am not sure why. Even though I know a hungry man will be at the door step every night around five... I still can't seem to be creative with all the food we have.
Seriously, Coop has been such a great cooking husband. He says his best meals come from his hunger pains while cooking. Some type of inspiration :) The past nights we have had the most amazing meals from Italian soup, Chicken Satay, Parmesan Chicken, somethings I can't just come up with let alone make up the recipe on the spot.

Oh yes... 8 More Days to GO

Lets Start The Count Down...

38 weeks. I was on my way to see my Bestie (jess go holmes) then to my weekly Midwife appointment

38 weeks and 5 Days before Chicken Satay dinner that Mr. Cooper made for us!

We have 9 (nine) days left till Zeke's estimated due date. I am hoping to have him on the 3rd of November... but that would be in a perfect life... dream life. I made the final touches to his room and to our room. We just need to finish stripping and painting the night stands and we will be set. And of course, DEEP cleaning the hell out of my home.

I have this creative itch...
I accomplished making (my own interpretation) fabric Rosettes. Which are for sale at Flower Basket for a decent price.

Before the bobbies were on.

Tada!

Accomplished making a simple baby quilt. Which I still need to post a picture.
Now... I want to make some bead work. For my the top of my wedding dress my cousin and I did the bead work and I bought way too many tubes of beads that I should use sometime soon, not like they will expire anytime soon, but my desire and ideas will. So, today I gathered colors and ideas for my quest. Hopefully soon I can start on these before mr.Zeke decides to arrive.

Goodnight Cooper, I hope you enjoy your bike ride tomorrow morning. XooX

Really This Simple

Nothing better after a good night's rest and sitting a room full of fresh morning sunlight, open windows, last night's rain's cold breeze seeping it's way filling the room with it's fragrance; listening to Led Zeppelin with a mouth full of fridge cold yogurt and granola.
I really do believe in my own little theory... which is... how you treat yourself in the morning is how the rest of your day will go.
Did you know your are the most alert when you wake up? Use those brain cells well my darling.

We have 15 days till the time Zeke should come along. 15 Days!!! That is two weeks and a day, give and take a little if Zeke decides to be out of there sooner than later.

All I can imagine is it being a sunny MORNING, yes MORNING. Waking up. Getting ready and wa wa wallaa! He's ready, like a timer... DING! And Cooper calling work getting it all figured out on that end (non stressful) and preparing ourselves for a REAL colossal ride for the next couple of hours. Then, after I have gotten into my mind-set (hypno) calling Carolee (our documentary photographer) to head over. I'll sit into a warm bath that Coop has prepared with Lavender oil. (haa) Then after a few more Birthing Waves and a few snap shots later... into the car and off to the delivery room. And I am open to what ever may come while we are there.
BUT! as soon as Zeke is in our arms... that... that will be BLISS. Then I dont care if Utah decides to bring on a full snow storm or what every she is thinking of pulling these days.

Last Night
