HELP

CAN ANYONE TELL MY why PICTURES LOOK LIKE CRAP!? I HAVE BEEN DOING THE SAME THING SINCE DAY 1...

Something...

I have been really mesmerized with Duduà and embroidery blog from Spain. There are some great finds in this cute blog...
Well inspiration was La Aguja Màgica = The Magic Needle...
After a few weeks wondering about my translation and googling The Magic Needle coming with no results to what I was looking for; last night I stubbled across another (ENGLISH) blog translating La Aguja Màgica to (DUN DUN DUN!) Punch Needle... Ugh.
So anyway this morning I was on a mission to find the Punch Needle and luckily Michaels Crafts had it!!! ahah! Relief!

So here is what i did...

First I Punched the drawing I wanted and it ended up looking like this...

The Back...Which is really the front part of the punching process..

And then...
I sewed it on one of Zeke's Onesies.

Of course it was for Zeke...

Happy 5th Month

Zeke boy. His baby fat is wearing away. It makes me a bit sad because this means he is growing into a crawling thiner Zeke. I have gotten use to his rolly arms and oversized chins, oh and his thunderous legs. They will be missed very very much.

Home

We finally got in from ID Tuesday night... and why haven't I posted?
Well,
My house was a plethora of junk and junk's junk
Zeke boy is so cute all i want to do it kiss him and hug him ALL DAY LONG
and,
LAZY

Idaho was great. The first day back Zeke fell into a depressed/cranky/sad/confused state. Withdraws from attention and meeting new people everyday being held and cuddled and kissed all the time. It has taken him this whole week to get use to being home and back to his napping schedule. I didnt mind at all, other than i just barely got to clean the house.
We went to the Boise Co-Op, which i would recommend while visiting Idaho. Organic, local, yum, adventures food. Before hitting the road for a long five hour drive back home we stopped to get some "treat drinks" as cooper would say, and some munching snacks. We got the Tiramasu cake along with some other treats. mmm tiramasu was sooo good. i wish i would have taken a picture. BUT, it was gone in less than 1 minute and my brain was in a comatose state filled with rich cream dreams. haa.

Last Minute...

...we decided to get away for the weekend to visit some family in Idaho. Random? Yes! Fun? Oh, yes! My brother in law left this morning for Idaho, and we had to tag along. On cooper's side, great grandma Birdie has not met baby z yet. Even more reason to pack up and drive the long 5 hours with an almost 5 month old.
Even though it might have taken us all day to get ready to leave we did it. We are barely passing Antelope Drive near Clearfield. Still 5 hours to go..
There are a couple of places that are a must to check out while in Boise

Guidos Pizza. Mmm. New York style. The atmosphere is a plus. This is one of the only times we carry cash.

Grape Escape a wine bar, oh they have the best Brie cheese with black currants dip. Water in my mouth!

And to keep you busy I have found an AMAZING blog! Once I bumped into it I immediately got inspired to use my new skill (knitting)
Wee Textiles for all those who have babies, you have to check it out
